IRiver Is Still Making Mp3 Players

The company iRiver has been going strong since 1999. This digital audio company makes some creative MP3 players, an e-book reader, and e-dictionary, and MP4 video players, and personal media players. I remember my first MP3 player was actually a device by iRiver it held up to 128 MB of  files and even had an FM tuner. The cool thing about this device, besides it being my first  player,is that it was shaped like a little prism and I wore it by a cord around my neck. One nice function but this player had was a voice recorder. So people may think you are wearing your iPod around her neck because you want to listen to music. But you can also covertly record conversations with it, although I wouldn’t recommend. The voice recorder was one of the functions that always made the iRiver MP3 player stand out to me. The players by iRiver still have voice recorders, to this day.

The company iRiver is still making MP3 players and lately they have been trying to revive the reputation as a portable audio-video leader. They have come out with a new and interesting line of  players from the 4.3 inch touchscreen of the P7 to the more moderately sized Spinn they are making an effort to put some excitement back into the iRiver line of MP3 players.

The original iRiver  players were best known for the small triangular shape and the ability to wear it around your neck. They have come out with something similar and it also serves a dual purpose. I’m talking about the volcano. This little  player not only looks like a USB memory stick. But it can also be used as one. You never have to worry about transferring files are forgetting the memory stick because you will always have one with you with the volcano  player. You can also wear it around your neck and listen to MP3s. This little beauty offers the best of both worlds.

I was also really impressed with the website. When you go to the iRiver website you can not only read about all the new products that you can find the manuals to go with them as well. You can also find manuals for older products. Which really comes in handy, if like I did, you lost her old manual. Not only that but they have software and firmware upgrades. You can even get drivers for your old  players and updated drivers for the new products. When a company takes the time to support their products that as a sign of quality.
