New Kindle DX
The Kindle DX is one of the major series introduced by the main Kindle line. It was first launched on May 6,2009. As obvious as it can be, the DX has better features than the previous ones. In a way it is an improved version of the original Kindles. For one, it has larger screens than the others. It comes with a 9.7 inches E Ink screen instead of the 6 inches normal screen. The High contrast E Ink Screen displays with 50% improved contrast for the clearest text and the sharpest images.
It is said to be more suitable for displaying newspaper and textbook content, although no Kindle model preserves the print edition page numbers used when citing sources in school papers and scholarly research. Like all of the other series, the DX’s screen looks and reads like real paper with no glare, making it easy to read in bright sunlight as in the living room. It is also the thinnest Kindle to date and offers an accelerometer, which enables the user to effortlessly rotate pages between landscape and portrait orientations when it is turned on its side. It also supports simple PDF files.
Amazon also introduced a new Kindle DX, in a “graphite” colour. Until then, it was only found in white casing. It comes with the memory to store 3500 books, with 2-3 weeks battery life with the wireless off. It also comes with a free 3G wireless, available in the cell phones. It enables users to download and purchase availablility from any location with cell service. It also includes Whispersync, which are available in all the Kindle line.
This intelligent beauty comes in a very affordable price of $379. The e-reader is equivalent to the cost of an I-pad but comes with a whole lot of features. Hence, the new Kindle DX is probably something to keep your hands on. They are stylish, efficient and provides you with more features than ever. It is a blessing for those who love to read and useful for everyone, anywhere. This is amazing!!
