BG,also referred to as the Blackhaven Wedding Gardens, is located off Highway 109 between I-40 and Gallatin. It covers twenty-eight acres and sits along a portion of Old Hickory Lake.
It is an idyllic garden wedding site. These gardens were painstaking developed by the owner over several years, and now she has opened her creations up to the public for various events including weddings and receptions.
This location includes a modern building for an indoor reception area, as well as a backup location for wedding ceremonies if it rains. There is a more private “porch” at the side where couples can have a few minutes alone if they wish before rejoining the wedding guests at the reception. Within the wedding gardens is a strategically placed gazebo where the wedding ceremonies usually take place.
Blackhaven is located not very far outside of Nashville, making it convenient for couples and guests from the city to use this location for their wedding. In fact, it is located on the side of Nashville where the airport is making it even easier for out of town guests flying in to get to the venue. There are plenty of hotels available throughout the area to choose from for Nashville wedding guest accommodations.
Since opening only a few years ago, Blackhaven Gardens has become a popular Nashville wedding site with many weddings now have taken place there. There are other nice garden wedding locations around Nashville such as the Sunken Garden Centennial Park and Cheekwood Gardens and Botanical Center. But you may find that the greater privacy and cost savings is worth a few miles drive out of the city.
