Wood, Plastic or Metal? Stacking Chairs

Stacking chairs are one the great legacies of the Twentieth Century. With the technology to form plastic and wood, it is possible to have stack chairs with wood, metal or plastic seats. The legs are usually metal, to keep the weight of each chair down so it can be lifted onto the stack and so the stacked chairs do not weight so much they cannot be moved, even on their specially made trolley.

Plastic stacking chairs have the advantage of color. The plastic seat is made in a number of colors, and, if you have a big enough order, you can probably get custom colors. Thus you can have school cafeteria chairs or your rec room chairs in your school colors.

The wood stacking chair is usually left in a medium wood tone, but you can probably get this stackable chair in a custom wood color if needed, so you can have dark mahogany, red cherry or light pine chairs to match the decor of the room in which the chairs will be used or for better looking stacking office chairs.

All metal stack chairs are a little different in that the seat is not molded. It may be formed by weaving metal strips or welding stamped metal parts to form the seat and attach it to the legs. Metal can be used for stackable outdoor chairs if the metal itself is protected from deterioration by water and weather.

Probably the most effective stackable chairs are the plastic stacking chairs. They are seen in many place under many circumstances, which would seem to prove that they are the most cost beneficial stackable chairs for general use available. You can get these cost efficient stackable patio chairs for your own home and yard and enjoy those same benefits while providing places for you guests to sit.
