Organize Your Closet and Feel Better
Are you ready to let go all of that stuff you are not actually using? Oh, please don’t get too sentimental this time. It’s about time to let go of all that stuff to give your closet and yourself a breath of fresh air. The ways to organize your closet are as easy as you could ever think if you just know how to sort your stuff from the most important to the least. You might even discover that half of the things inside your cramped closet should have long been gone.
The easiest way is the closet organizers do-it-yourself. Everything just comes into handy here. After cleaning out your closet, and yes, that does mean taking everything out including dust and dust balls, you are ready to put everything back in its proper place. Hang clothes that you use most of the time like your office wardrobe, Sunday dresses and other formal wears. You can keep other seasonal clothes at the lower drawers for the mean time. Everyday working clothes, pajamas and other casual clothes can be neatly folded and placed in baskets with lids or clear plastic storage boxes for easier access. Foot wears shall also come according to priority. You can put those frequently used ones on a shoe rack or a shelf and those occasionally used at the lowest shelf of the closet. Hankies, scarves, under wears, ties, shoe laces and other small pieces of clothing can be placed in smaller recycled plastic containers; complete them with labels or color codes and stack them neatly in one shelf. All other trinkets and valuables will have those clear jars or previous food containers as their safe. You can add hooks or additional stand alone hanging rods if you want.
Now don’t feel sad about the stuff you’d let go. Get another box or two, or three, and place them orderly inside. Close the box with a tape and carefully label it, “Donationsâ€. There, you feel even better now.
