Home Theater System

With the cinematic influence and persona that pervades California, San Diego home theater speakers are a necessity in many residences. Though home theater speakers are a staple item for completing the perfect setting for home entertainment, there are many other items that can be used to create the perfect environment for movie viewing. In addition to home theater speakers, a quality screen, seating and ambiance add depth to the entire room and place the viewer in the middle of the magic that is the central theme in The Majestic.

Movie posters can be a great addition to the walls of a home theater, but just placing them on the walls can detract if it is not done well. In order to make the posters add to the classiness and give the feel of a real movie theater lobby, at the very least, frames are needed around the posters. Thin frames will work, but if wider frames are available, they resemble the edges of the glass frames used in lobbies more closely. This can be pleasant by itself, but in order to augment the atmosphere even more, the movie posters can be combined with low lighting that has the same effect as the lighting used to highlight aisles in a real theater. It acts as a spotlight for the posters as well as enhancing the overall feel of the room. In addition, if the home theater speakers are used often, it can be fun to rotate the posters within the frames so that it resembles the entertainment industry more closely.

Though the home theater speakers and movies posters add a lot to the room, the colors of the walls is also highly influential. Some home theater designers prefer completely black walls in order to have the entire focus of the viewers on the screen that is being viewed. However, this is not typically a style of décor that is pleasant to spend time in. Instead, low muted tones that are earthy in nature are often a substitute that works well for many. The muted earthy tones do not reflect the lighting from the screen like white walls will but they create a lighter environment that is not as oppressive as the completely black interior.

In conjunction with the colors used on the walls, choosing seating that reflects the styles and colorings chosen is important. Providing seating that is comfortable is a crucial part of any home theater décor. Most people prefer to lounge in comfort while enjoying a cinematic debut. However, the home theater room may be a popular place for parties and other gatherings, so the comfort level of the seating needs to be balanced by the number of seats that can fit within the space allotted. Recliner seats resemble the theater seating that is most commonly used in public settings. However, the recliners need ample room and unless stadium seating height is built into the room, they usually create height barriers when used beyond a single row. Though the home theater speakers would still be easily heard by the second row, a child sitting there could easily miss the bulk of the visual elements of the movie. To help accommodate this, many theaters will use lower bench style couches that allow people to crowd more closely together if needed. Plus, the lower backs on these types of styles are better suited to having a second row that can see the show as well. When designing the perfect home theater setup, the screen, speakers, seating, wall colors, lighting and wall decorations all help to create a more comprehensive viewing experience that can provide the perfect gathering place for social events.
