Capresso 464.05 With Conical Burr Grinder Review

Hello people and welcome to this review of the Capresso 464.05 coffee maker with conical burr grinder. I know that if you have found your way to this review, you are most likely looking for a machine that comes with a grinder.

During the course of this review I will be attempting to bring  my own views on this machine and through that it will be a little on the subjective, but I will also be attempting to deliver a balanced review as I can.

The carafe on this machine is not bad. But I think that when we are looking at a coffe maker that has a price tag of anywhere near 100 dollars we need to be looking at making sure the coffee maker we buy comes with a thermal carafe. Unless of course you prefer it when your coffee gets that burnt taste. It does irritate me when I see coffee maker manufacturers cutting corners in this manner. It doesn’t cost that much and they would most likely increase their sales by doing so. At least they would if everyone shared my opinion on glass carafes.

The grinder is a little bit of a sticking point as well, and even though the burr grinder is really very good at the actual job of grinding it wanes in the fact that it is so god damned noisy. I really think that Capresso should have  some noise insulation for the grind chamber. Anyway, what’s done is done.

In summary I would like to say that this coffee maker is probably best suited for someone who doesn’t mind the noise it makes.
