Asus Eee Pc 701SD: Best 7 Inch Mini Laptop

Despite being in the market since 2007, the Asus Eee PC 701 is still the best 7 inch mini laptop available. This particular model started the consumer’s love of the netbook which is now belongs to a category of its own separate from laptops. The 8 GB SSD storage device is just enough for your average use. Although a bit small in capacity, it actually fits this model perfectly since you won’t be installing any heavy applications on it. If you need more storage space you can use the optional 30 GB external HDD which comes with the device or you can use the 10 GB online Eee storage space which is provided for free.

The battery life is rated at 3.5 hours if under Windows XP and 3.4 hours under Linux. This is enough for you to check on your emails while you sit at your favorite coffee shop.
