Are Baggy Jeans Still Trendy?

The stories of many fashionable accessories of today’s world often resemble each other. And jeans have a similar story. Originally designed as a tough pants for hard workers who need a piece of cloth that cannot be easily damaged or torn. Later on fashion market could not ignore popular of these worker pants, and skinny and baggy jeans were introduced on a wide scale. People of different groups and subcultures used them to make a statement of their individuality, to show their adherence to some believes.
Initially baggy jeans, or wide leg pants were the fad of youth in the middle of nineties, then it faded, and baggy jeans were caught up by skateboarders, later on – by hip hop admirers, like a relay race were you hand a special stick to the next runner. The truth is as follows: you need something to stand out from the crowd, to show off your believes and belonging to this or that group, and your outfit will do it nicely for you without the need to utter a word.
What are baggy jeans? Some people confuse them with bell-bottom that were popular in the sixties. Yet bell bottom pants have wider bottoms only, below the knee area, and wide leg pants have wide hem area, and overall wide legs, with circumference at the hem reaching 20 to 26 inches.
