The Most Delicious Pumpkin Bread
A classic fall recipe with a twist. My family looks forward to this all year!
Ingredients
Bread:
2/3 cup shortening or unsalted butter
2/3 cup water
2 2/3 cup sugar
3 1/3 cup flour
4 eggs
2 tsp baking soda
1 can (15oz) pumpkin
1½ tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp baking powder
1 tsp cloves
Glaze:
3 tbsp butter
1 tbsp milk
½ cup brown sugar
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
Pour into two greased bread pans, or 6 mini bread pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
While the bread is baking, make the glaze. Melt the butter then add the milk, brown sugar, powdered sugar, and vanilla. Whisk together until smooth.
Once the bread is done, add the glaze once it’s mostly cooled. Enjoy!
